Booking with On My Way Tours
A booking is considered confirmed once On My Way Tours has confirmed the requested service, date and applicable price with the guest.
Because we offer both services operated directly by On My Way Tours and experiences operated by independent third-party providers, payment and cancellation conditions may differ between products.
Any important conditions applying specifically to your booking will be communicated before or at the time the booking is confirmed.
Guests are responsible for checking the information contained in their booking confirmation and informing us as soon as possible if any information is incorrect.
Prices
Prices are normally quoted in US dollars unless another currency is specifically stated. The price and inclusions confirmed for your particular booking take precedence over general information displayed elsewhere on the website.
Prices, schedules and availability may change before a booking is confirmed.
How payment works
There is no single deposit amount that applies to every booking. Depending on the service, booking value and circumstances, On My Way Tours may request a deposit, require advance payment or waive the deposit requirement.
Where a deposit or advance payment is required, the amount and payment conditions will be communicated as part of the individual booking arrangement.
Unless otherwise agreed, the remaining balance for services operated directly by On My Way Tours may be paid on the day of the service by cash or PayPal.
Some third-party experiences require full payment in advance. Their individual payment conditions apply and will be communicated before the booking is completed.
If plans change
Cancellation and refund conditions depend on the service booked. Where specific cancellation conditions apply, these will be communicated as part of the individual booking.
Services operated directly by On My Way Tours
If On My Way Tours is unable to operate a service provided directly by us because of weather, operational circumstances or another reason outside the guest's control, we will normally first offer an alternative date where this is possible.
If an alternative date is not possible or suitable, payments already made to On My Way Tours for the affected service will be refunded, subject to any applicable legal requirements and any costs that relate to separately booked third-party services.
No-shows
If a guest does not attend a confirmed service, does not arrive at the agreed meeting point or is not ready for pickup at the agreed time without cancelling in accordance with the applicable booking conditions, the booking is treated as a no-show.
No-shows are non-refundable and the agreed booking price may remain payable, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in these terms is intended to remove or restrict any mandatory cancellation, refund or consumer rights that apply under the laws of Antigua & Barbuda or other law that cannot legally be excluded.
Third-party activities and operators
On My Way Tours also arranges and sells experiences that are physically operated by independent third-party companies.
These may include activities such as boat tours, diving, snorkeling, water sports, adventure activities and other specialist experiences.
Where an experience is operated by a third party, the operator's individual requirements may apply. These can include:
- advance or full payment requirements;
- individual cancellation and refund rules;
- minimum ages, weight or health restrictions;
- waivers or participation agreements;
- minimum guest numbers;
- weather and sea-condition requirements; and
- operator-specific check-in or arrival times.
Some third-party bookings may become non-refundable once confirmed or paid. Where this applies, we will communicate the relevant conditions before completing the booking.
The third-party operator remains responsible for the actual operation and delivery of its activity. On My Way Tours remains responsible for its own obligations in connection with the booking and for rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Weather, schedules and unavoidable changes
Antigua & Barbuda is a tropical destination and many of our experiences depend on weather, road, sea and operational conditions.
Routes, stops, departure times, schedules or activities may occasionally need to be adjusted for safety or operational reasons.
Boat trips, Barbuda transportation, snorkeling, diving, water sports and other marine activities can be particularly dependent on wind, waves, sea conditions and marine warnings.
Safety decisions made by captains, activity operators, transport providers or On My Way Tours must be respected.
Where an activity is cancelled, postponed or materially changed, refund or rescheduling arrangements will depend on whether the service is operated by On My Way Tours or by a third-party provider and on the applicable booking conditions and law.
Important information for cruise passengers
Cruise guests must provide accurate ship information and should advise us of their scheduled arrival and all-aboard or departure time.
For experiences specifically accepted by On My Way Tours as suitable for cruise guests, we plan the itinerary around the information provided and allow appropriate time for returning to the port.
Guests must nevertheless follow the agreed meeting times and inform us immediately of changes to the ship's schedule.
Barbuda
On My Way Tours does not recommend independently arranged Barbuda day trips for cruise ship guests.
Travel between Antigua and Barbuda is highly dependent on weather conditions. Ferries, boats, flights and helicopters may be delayed or cancelled because of strong winds, high surf, marine warnings or other unsuitable conditions.
Guests staying on Antigua can often rearrange a Barbuda experience for another day. Cruise passengers normally have only one day in port and therefore have significantly less flexibility.
No independently arranged transport provider can guarantee that a cruise guest travelling to Barbuda will return to the cruise port before the ship departs.
Liability and guest responsibilities
Guests are responsible for providing accurate booking information, following safety instructions and advising On My Way Tours or the relevant activity provider of any information that may materially affect their ability to participate safely.
Guests should take reasonable care of their personal belongings. On My Way Tours cannot accept responsibility for property lost, forgotten or damaged except where responsibility arises under applicable law.
On My Way Tours is not responsible for delays, cancellations or changes caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, government restrictions, road closures, marine warnings or actions of independent operators, except to the extent that applicable law provides otherwise.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful under the laws of Antigua & Barbuda.
